Funded by the City of London Corporation, City Careers Open House (CCOH) Primary is an aspiration raising programme designed to give students in year 6 their first insight into the City and help prepare students for the transition to secondary school. Pupils from schools in the City fringe boroughs spend the afternoon at a City firm, gaining an insight into working life and the huge variety of opportunities the City offers.
This programme is free for schools in Camden, Hackney, Islington, Lambeth, Southwark, Tower Hamlets and Westminster.
Key highlights of the sessions include:
Funded by the Nomura Charitable Trust, the Introduction to Working Life workshop is targeted at year 6 students and provides insight into the jobs that people have in the City. These sessions consist of a three to four hour workshop for primary schools in Lewisham and Enfield.
