Hosting a Workshop - Case Study
A few months ago I hosted a Brokerage workshop in our offices at UBS. It was about graduate recruitment in the City and was for a group of undergraduates from our neighboring inner London boroughs. When I walked in the room I was faced with a group of tremendously eager, bright students, representing every ethnic group and creed imaginable. This was diversity and talent development coming alive. Not just words and soundbytes but real practical action. I spent an immensely rewarding morning with them and am sure I will see many of the group again when their time to apply for graduate roles comes around.
I have been involved with the Brokerage since its inception both as a trustee, and latterly chair of trustees, and in my capacity as an executive director in HR with UBS investment bank.
During that time the opportunities that the Brokerage has given me, and scores of other people at UBS, to progress our talent and diversity objectives have been both varied and rewarding.
If, like me, you are seeking ways to hire top talent, to develop a diverse workforce, to grow the skills of your people and in doing so to make a real contribution to your local community, then please contact the team at the Brokerage who will be delighted to help.
