Apprenticeships & Vocational Schemes

The Brokerage Apprenticeships and Vocational Schemes

Looking at alternatives to university or are you a graduate who needs experience and technical skills to start their career? Then an Apprenticeship or Vocational Scheme might be for you!!!

Our apprenticeships and vocational training schemes are perfect for anyone who wishes to pursue a career in the financial and professional related services, but who want to start work straight away and not take the study only route or who needs valid experience in a particular sector in order to progress or start their career.

Whilst on a programme you will work alongside studying for a particular technical certificate needed for your role. For those that wish to also have a degree, some apprenticeships and vocational schemes come with the opportunity to earn a degree and study at university/ college whilst working. All education and training (including a degree) will be paid for by your employer, so you will have no student debt! You can also apply for student perks such as the Apprenticeship NUS card and Apprenticeship Oyster Card.

As a Brokerage candidate you will have the opportunity to apply for a variety of corporate schemes and some exclusive Brokerage only programmes (see examples below). You will also be able to attend an array of skill development training sessions to help make you an outstanding candidate.

These include:

  • CV and cover letter workshops
  • Insight days and networking events
  • Masterclasses
  • Mock assessment centres
  • Pre-interview coaching
  • Application sessions
  • Live Q&A with our corporate partners

I attended workshops which helped me to practise interview skills, improve my CV and prep for assessment centre tests. Before the interview the team ensured I was ready and afterwards they called me to find out how it went. Without the support I received from The Brokerage I wouldn’t be here today.
