GEEP Programme Event: A Success in Skill Building and Networking for Aspiring Engineers
The Brokerage proudly managed and hosted the GEEP (Graduate Engineering Engagement Programme) event this week, bringing together a diverse and enthusiastic group of candidates from across the UK, including Scotland, the Midlands, and Wales. The event held in collaboration with Royal Academy of Engineering at the Royal Society of Arts, was a remarkable opportunity for budding engineers to hone their skills and gain valuable industry insights.
Master Classes for budding Engineers
The event featured two consecutive masterclasses focused on essential career-building topics – crafting the perfect CV and cover letter and personal branding and effective networking. These sessions were instrumental in equipping the GEEP candidates with the tools they need to succeed in a competitive job market.
Industry Professionals
The masterclasses were supported by professionals from leading companies such as bp, Fugro, EDF Energy, Johnson Matthey, Microfluid X, and the Royal Academy of Engineering, as well as GEEP ambassadors. Their involvement was crucial in providing real-world insights and guidance to the participants.
