Linking City employers and talented young Londoners

We were delighted to hold our City Business Traineeship graduation and awards event at Société Générale on 7th September.

The event is a great way for us to celebrate our participants’ success and achievements. It was a fantastic evening full of celebrations, networking and story sharing.

It’s been a path of discovery for our candidates this year, registrations began as early as October and along the way they have had incredible industry insights at masterclasses hosted by Barnett WaddinghamBoies Schiller & FlexnerCISiCivil ServiceDWFFidelis Fresco AdvisoryFreshfieldsHeadland ConsultancyIUAMorrison & FoersterRothschild & CoStarr and TheCityUK as well as one-to-one support from The Brokerage team to help them during their 6-12 week paid work placements.

At the celebration we were joined by Andrew Parmley, the Lord Mayor of the City of London, who presented the awards and congratulated the young students on completing the programme.

The young interns were awarded for their hard work, attendance, time keeping, motivation and work ethic whilst employers were recognised for delivering high-quality placements.
