Maths in the City with Nomura

Online workshop aimed at introducing sixth form students to the world of financial, professional and related services with a focus on how maths is used in the workplace. This will feature a live Q&A session with volunteers from Nomura, a global financial services group with an integrated network spanning over 30 countries servicing the needs of individuals, institutions, corporates and governments through four business divisions: Retail, Asset Management, Wholesale (Global Markets, Investment Banking and International Wealth Management) and Merchant Banking.

Insurance: An Introduction to starting a career in the insurance sector with CFC Underwriting
Online workshop aimed at introducing careers in the insurance sector featuring a live Q&A session with volunteers from CFC Underwriting, a specialist insurance provider with headquarters in London serving more than 70,000 businesses across 80-plus countries. The company was founded in 1999 during the dotcom boom, when it was known as ClickForCover.com, and provided some of the first online commercial insurance policies available globally. Later, CFC transitioned to a more traditional business model and rebranded itself with its current name.
