Aprenticeship Masterclass with Whitehat

Did you know that you can do train to be a data scientist without going to university? Did you know that you can train to be a software engineer while you work? That’s what apprenticeship programmes are! They incorporate professional qualifications with applied learning, meaning that you can learn while you earn. Apprenticeship programmes are now available across a variety of industries and specialisms and have become a viable alternative to university. In this session, you will hear from Whitehat, an apprenticeship provider who recruit and train apprentices in and around London. Plus Brewin Dolphin (insurance company) will explain how apprenticeships work for them.

In this session you'll learn all about what an apprenticeship programme involves, apprenticeship v university,  and tips for the application process! 

You'll see example apprenticeships at Brewin Dolphin and hear feedback from some of the apprentices, to find out what its really like. You'll also be directed to further resources to find out more.
