Helping Young People Build on Their Strengths
Through coaching, workshops, and mock assessments, I help candidates recognise the strengths they already possess. My role isn’t about fixing them – it’s about reflecting their potential back to them, empowering them to believe in themselves, and guiding them to seize their next opportunity with confidence and purpose.

Jitendra’s journey through The Next Gen Talent Programme is a powerful example of how targeted guidance, coaching, and encouragement can unlock a young person’s potential and build genuine momentum in their career journey.
After facing over 100 rejections and a long period of self-doubt, Jitendra recently shared some fantastic news: he’s been invited to a virtual interview for the Actuarial & Analytics Internship programme at Tokio Marine Kiln. He credited this milestone to the tailored support he received through the programme, particularly the coaching that helped him make his applications more reflective, purposeful, and authentic.
What stands out is the shift in Jitendra’s mindset i.e. he learnt to ask why each part of his application mattered and how to bring more of his personality into his responses. This self-awareness and growth have been key in breaking through the silence he previously encountered from employers.
While his long-term goal remains in investments, Jitendra’s ability to pivot and tailor his skills to an actuarial opportunity shows both flexibility and growing confidence. He continues to be proactive and is now preparing an application for an investment internship, his “dream opportunity.”

His resilience and growth are a powerful testament to what this programme makes possible.

What impressed me most was the capability of our candidates — their curiosity, drive, and potential are undeniable. I’ve learned that we’re not just supporting young people; we’re bringing rising stars into the workplace and shaping future leaders. Despite encountering barriers like limited networks, systemic challenges, and low confidence, they continue to show up with resilience and ambition.
