Designed for young people aged 16 to 25, this programme serves as your compass, helping you navigate the twists and turns of today’s professional landscape with confidence and precision. How are we going to support you?
The Next Gen Talent Programme is your roadmap to career success, providing you with the tools, mentors, guidance, and knowledge to reach your destination. With a defined registration period, this journey is taken in dynamic groups of 50 candidates, each assigned a dedicated Careers Coach to steer you through the programme. Our mission is to promote social mobility and provide equitable opportunities for diverse young talent, like you, to thrive in the corporate world.

- Application Period: Opens Monday, 11th November 2024; closes by Monday 18th November (or sooner if capacity is reached, so apply early!) NOW CLOSED
Eligibility:
To take part, you must:
- Meet our eligibility criteria
- Be a current undergraduate attending a London-based university
- Be available to join the required sessions (see dates below)
Session Schedule:
- Onboarding: Tue, 3rd Dec (18:00-19:30)
- Session 1: Mon, 9th Dec (16:30-18:00) – in person, London
- Session 2: Tue, 14th Jan or Tue, 21st Jan (16:30-18:30) – online
- Session 3: Mon, 17th Feb or Tue, 18th Feb – full day, in person, London
- Session 4: Thu, 20th Feb or Fri, 21st Feb – half day, in person, London

Your Route Map: Programme Structure
The journey unfolds in two key stages, each carefully plotted to ensure you develop and refine your employability skills and gain access to internships:
Stage 1: Map Your Course with Employability Skills
Your journey begins with an in-depth exploration of your professional capabilities. This stage focuses on:
- Self-awareness: Chart your personal strengths and map out areas for growth.
- Understanding the Job/Sector: Discover the terrain of your chosen field and plot your course.
- Getting the Job/securing a placement: Equip yourself with the navigational tools for job hunting, including crafting your CV and mastering interviews.
You’ll test your skills at a mock assessment centre (MAC), ensuring you’re ready to progress to the next leg of your journey. You’ll take part in:
- Real-World Interview Simulation
- Case Study
A pass at the assessment stage allows you to move to STAGE 2 of The Next Gen Talent Career Programme.
Stage 2: Navigate to Your Destination with Recruitment Support
After successfully navigating Stage 1, you’ll advance to Stage 2, where we provide essential support to help you reach your career destination. This includes:
- Mentoring: Receive personalized guidance to apply your newfound knowledge and steer your way.
- Securing a Placement: Get support in pinpointing and landing the right internship or placement.
- Performing in the Job: Learn how to navigate the workplace, develop future skills, and excel in your new role.
Your journey culminates when you secure a placement, internship or paid role in the City of London, marking a successful arrival at your career destination on The Next Gen Talent Programme.
You will then be added to a pool of active career-ready candidates and see all our future opportunities.
