These events are open to all young people aged 16-25, regardless of whether they are a registered candidate or not. For each event, volunteers from corporate partners will be joining us so you can interact directly with professionals working in these areas.

Apprenticeships 101
We are running a live event to provide more information for prospective apprentices or those who want a better understanding of apprenticeship programmes.
You will learn about:
- what apprenticeships are
- how they work and
- who they are for.
You will also have an opportunity to ask current apprentices, Ammi (International Wealth Management Apprentice at Credit Suisse) and Annie Walker (Business and Recruitment Apprentice at The Brokerage) any questions, as well as speak to Belinda Waiswa, Placement & Recruitment Manager at The Brokerage.
The event is open to all so feel free to ask your friends and family to join.

A Day in the Life of an Investment Banker with UBS
Find out how varied careers in the banking sector can be. In this session we will be hearing from a variety of volunteers including from UBS telling us all about their career journey, how they got into the sector and details of their daily professional lives.

- What banking roles entail and how they sit within the organisation
- Day-to-day life at an investment bank
- Routes into the industry
- Skills needed for the role/skillset best matched to the role
- Resources for further exploring the role

Women in Banking with Peel Hunt (WOMEN ONLY)
In honour of International Women’s Day on Tuesday 8th March, we will be hosting an online session with leading Investment Bank, Peel Hunt.
We will be joined by a range of successful women volunteers who work in various positions in the City. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and hear about their career journeys.

Working in the City with UBS
This session will explore the various sectors that exist within the City before doing a deep dive into the financial sector. We will be joined by an amazing array of volunteers from UBS who will be explain about the sector, the work of UBS and sharing what their roles comprise of. Students will also have the chance to pose questions during this interactive session.
