Access Opportunities

Find out more about career education for your 6th form students.

Welcome to The Brokerage!

We are here to help disadvantaged young people learn about professional careers found in the City, including banking and finance, insurance, accountancy and technology. Traditionally a large aspect of our work has involved reaching out to schools and talking to young people about how we can help develop their skills and offer opportunities with aspirational employers.

As traditional methods are now on hold, we have developed an exciting range of ways we can still reach young people and support teachers deliver on key aspects of career education.

We can help your students learn about careers in our partner companies, develop their soft skills, and learn about the recruitment methods companies use.

Furthermore, students can register with us as candidates and access exclusive work experience and internship opportunities.

Online presentation for your students

Instead of speaking at school assemblies, we would be delighted to speak directly to your students via webinar. This could be arranged for a time to suit you and your students. During the session, we will outline how students can benefit from working with The Brokerage, including information on our partner companies. Where possible, we will include appearances from professionals at our partner companies and/or current registered candidates and alumni.

Live ‘Working in the City’ webinars

We will be holding regular live webinar versions of our popular Working in the City and Maths in the City workshops. These will take place in late afternoon and will be open to any interested students. We will share dates and sign up details with schools as they are confirmed.

All these workshops will include the chance for young people to ask questions of professionals at our partner companies to build their knowledge of professional careers.

Materials to share with your students

We would be happy to provide online materials and video links that could be shared in your school to illustrate the work we do and how students can benefit. Please get in touch for a copy of these materials.
