All eligible students will join our Academy, which encompasses a wide programme of support and development including mentoring, CV development, paid internships and more to help you gain access to careers.
How to get involved
Please note that our opportunities are only available to students at state schools.
We are able to register year 12, year 13 students and undergraduates (if eligible) via the sign-up link below. Once registered, you will be able to take part in a variety of activities online including:
- Online workshops and masterclasses with staff members from The Brokerage and volunteers from our partner businesses.
- Online ‘bootcamps’ to develop their skills and knowledge.
You will also be able to apply for places on the following:
- Online mentoring
- Work experience
- Paid internships
- Apprenticeships and other school leaver roles.
Many of these are exclusive to candidates of The Brokerage. Due to the pandemic, they are also subject to change depending on whether employers are able to open their offices but where possible, online programmes are being developed.
To register with The Brokerage, you must:
- Have been eligible for free school meals at any point in the past six years
OR previous generations in your family haven’t attended university in the UK
- Have attained grades 9-5 at GCSE English Literature, English Language and Mathematics
- Be eligible to work in the UK
Step 1. Fill out our sign-up form.
Step 2. If you are eligible, you will receive an email from us inviting you to take part in group registration session via Zoom. Those that are not eligible will receive an ineligibility email.
Step 3. Attend a group session via Zoom so we can found out a little bit about you and discuss how we can support you to be a high quality candidate that will impress our corporate partners.
Once you have completed these three steps, you will start receiving invitations from us. You will be able to apply for different opportunities and receive support from our team.
Please note that some of our opportunities and programmes that we offer have additional criteria, including geographic restrictions or minimum academic requirements.
