Corporates raise money for The Brokerage.
In April, we were delighted to have two of our corporate supporters, Headland Consultancy and TheCityUK, take part in fundraising challenges to raise money for The Brokerage.
Employees from TheCityUK were caked in mud from head-to-toe as they took on the challenge of Tough Mudder, a hardcore 10-12 mile obstacle race, designed by British Special Forces to challenge the toughest of the tough.
Headland Consultancy opted for a cleaner, yet still intense, physical challenge as they competed in the Hackney Half Marathon. After three epic years, Vitality Run Hackney Half Marathon has firmly marked its position as one of the top ten half marathons in the UK, and we salute the team for taking it on.
Through the generosity of their colleagues, friends and families, over £2,000 has been raised – a fantastic achievement!
The money raised by both companies went towards our 2017 Employability Skills Advice Service, a free provision for young Londoners at state schools seeking advice or support regarding accessing career opportunities in professional, financial and related services.
